We're always on the lookout for great technologists here at Wahanda.

We don't generally focus on experience in a specific technology when looking for engineers as anyone new needs to get up to speed with our platform (and learning a language can be a part of that). However if you're looking for somewhere to spend all your time writing LISP / Oracle apps we're probably not the right fit.

Our core platform is based on the following:

Java (Velocity/Spring/Hibernate)
Javascript (JQuery)
SQL Server
PHP 5
Linux (Debian)

We also use a bit of Perl, C#, Bash, Flash, MySQL and Postgres here and there.

Current roles we're actively looking to fill are as follows:

Software Tester

Our small testing team is crucial to maintaining the quality of our site and applications. The development team have been producing so much code lately that the testing team are really overloaded and need help.

While prior testing experience isn’t necessary, we are looking for candidates who should have some knowledge of software testing processes and methodologies, proven communication skills and demonstrable accuracy and attention to detail.

Tech Interns

We're looking to employ both short term interns (a few weeks), summer interns and year-in-industry students.

Ideally you would have a computer science or similarly geeky background and be absolutely passionate about building software for the Web.

If were only to be with us for a short time we would try and engineer a specific project for you to work on. For longer then we would endeavour to teach you as much as we could.
